i wrote this song in 2017 or 2018, when i was living in edinburgh with somebody i was trapped in a relationship with.

it's essentially about how i was having a hard time knowing i was miserable and that the two of us were so fed up of each other but the trouble was i never had the courage to end it. so you kind of just resort to living under the same roof but everyday she'd come home through that door i could just see how she was in such a bad mood, and i was the same.

i play all of the instruments that you hear during the song, and my friend sam leighton performed the drums.

i currently record my music at home in my apartment in glasgow, scotland.

i used two microphones for everything, an se 4400A and an se 2200A. i use logic pro x, and plugins by waves.

i think my favourite guitar pedals are my jhs vcr and tc hall of fame.

i play a fender stratocaster. -----------

God I am so amazed by this album, I only discovered orchid when a YouTuber posted his song “lanterns” and I was amazed to I checked out the recent album and I couldn’t get enough. I’m glad I found this album and I can’t wait for my vinyl to arrive carkart_
